Attendance policy

Sign-In Procedures
  • A parent or guardian MUST be seen at AM drop off.  Our staff will sign in your child for the PM program. We cannot accept responsibility for any child not signed in and pre-registered.
  • Wonderful Weekdays cannot accept any child before opening time (see Hours of Operation).
Sign-Out Procedures
  • Parents or guardians MUST pick up their child/children by 6:00 PM. AFTER 6:00 PM you will be charged a $10 fee (per child) for every 5 minutes you are late. Below are details for how much you will be charged based on your late pick-up. If you arrive between:
    • 6:01-6:05 PM, you are charged $10 per child;
    • 6:06-6:10 PM, you are charged $20 per child;
    • 6:11-6:15 PM, you are charged $30 per child;
    • 6:16-6:20 PM, you are charged $40 per child;
    • 6:21-6:25 PM, you are charged $50 per child;
    • 6:26-6:30 PM, you are charged $60 per child.
  • If you do not pick up your child by 6:30PM, and we are unable to contact you or another authorized person, we must contact the police.
  • If you have three instances of being more than 15 minutes late picking up your child, your child will be removed from the program for the remainder of the semester. Written warnings will be signed and filed for each pick-up violation.
  • Late fees are not covered by financial-aid.
If your child is ill and not in attendance at school on a regular school day, please do not bring him/her to our after-school program. The school nurse MUST release your child for attendance at school, thereby ensuring that your child is well enough to be around other children.
